Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children Complete

As many people (including me) thought that Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children (2005) and Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children Complete (2009) were very similar, my friend Ronald Guanzon discovers it as it has a new story line, new visuals, new scenes and as well as new characters. According to wikipedia, the Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children Complete has a 20-minute extra movie which is the "Case of Denzel".

I really can't wait to watch this one.

Holy Week in Philippines

In the Philippines as the only dominant Christian country in Asia, Holy Week would mean “obligation”. People would take this opportunity to reflect on their faults and in different ways people express their commemoration of the passion, death and resurrection of Christ. Combined primitive traditions to modern day expression of faith is practiced all over the country.

Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday, the Church celebrates the coming of Christ into Jerusalem. At mass, Filipino church goers bring palm fronds to be blessed by the facilitating priest. After the mass they bring it home and placed in front doors or windows, it is believed to be protection from evil spirits that would want to enter their homes.

Holy Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday these days mainly commemorates Jesus Christ's entry to Jerusalem until his very Last Supper. Holy Monday starts the traditional “Pabasa”, chanting of the passion, death and resurrection of Christ. Nowadays modern tunes are acceptable to draw children closer to the tradition.

Maundy Thursday then is all about the Last Supper itself Christ being with his eleven apostles. During this time Catholic devotees usually perform “Visita Iglesia”, visit different churches and prays the Stations of the Cross. During Maundy Thursdays also people do reenactment of the Washing of the Feet of the Apostles.

Good Friday is commemorated with street processions, and plays about the Seven Last Words and Passion called “Senakulo”. In Pampanga, Senakulo highlights their contribution to the season. Their celebration is consisted of people who are doing their “Panata” (vow) each year as their thanksgiving to their answered petitions.

Black Saturday, as it is called in the Philippines, was observed with great silence. People perform vigils as they await for the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Easter Sunday starts with the “Salubong” (meeting), the reunion of the Virgin Mother Mary with his son Jesus after his resurrection. At Pre-dawn people gather and join the procession to their town church and hear mass.

No matter how much intact we are with Christianity, we all have our own expression of faith. We have traditions to celebrate but we should not forget our personal relationship with God every single day. May every Holy week just bring us even closer to him and tends us to do things for his glory.

Leaked Version of X-MEN ORIGINS lacks 10 Mins.

Leaked Version of X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE Lacks 10 Mins. of Entire Movie
20th Century Fox through its local (Phils) distributor Warner Bros. would like to inform the public that CD/DVD and online copies of X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE movie which was recently leaked online is an incomplete and very rough version.

Fox Co-Chairman Tom Rothman issued an official statement ensuring the fans and moviegoing public that the leaked version is indeed an early rough cut, with temporary sound and music and a darker appearance than the finished footage.

Rothman's statement notes that "The version that went out is unfinished. It's about 10 minutes shorter, doesn't have key scenes, it wasn't edited, and none of the effects shots were in any remotely final form. It's a complete misrepresentation of the film and is deeply unfair to the people who have worked on it for years."

Rothman is touting a bunch of footage shot in Canada earlier this year that he says is not even included in the version online. And he insists that both he and Hugh Jackman have vowed to stop at nothing to get the movie out to as many fans as possible. "Hugh was heartbroken and hurt when he found out. He's lived with this thing for 10 years. But he's also a man and knows that life isn't fair, and is more determined than ever," Rothman says. "Hugh and I exchanged e-mails: Basically, we're not going to let the bastards win. But we didn't use the word 'bastards.' That's a slightly sanitized version."

Likewise, fans and supporters of the movie in the Phils. have affirmed that the leaked version is more like watching behind-the-scenes of X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE. It is worthy to note that in unison, those who have come in possession of the unfinished version vowed that they will still definitely see it on the big screen when it opens April 30 (in Phil. theaters) since most of the scenes have unfinished, rough 3D special effects, blank frames, dull moments due to muted speaking lines and sound effects and the appearance of blue dots in every scene from start to end.

X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE will bow to theaters across the Philippines on APRIL 30 from 20th Century Fox to be distributed by Warner Bros.

[TRICK] Headphone to Microphone

Did you ever knew that your headphone could be turn into a microphone?
Well, here's how to do it:

1. Plug your headphone in the microphone port (afaik, any headset should work but not all).

2. Open your Sound Recorder (Start>Programs>Accessories>Entertainment>Sound Recorder).

3. Press the record button and make sounds.

4. Then look at the graph movements, means that you're producing sounds.

Note: Never tried this before, hahah! :P

Warner Bros. unveils the official banners for the highly anticipated “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” due to open across the Philippines on July 16, with a first-look feature here at Gian-Exia.blogspot.com.

The banners highlight six characters that major prominently in the sixth installment of the blockbuster series: Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dumbledore, Voldemort and Snape.

In “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again.

Warner Bros. Pictures presents a Heyday Films production, “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.” David Yates, who directed last year’s summer blockbuster “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix,” returns to direct “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.” David Heyman and David Barron are the producers, with Lionel Wigram serving as executive producer. LaMB Animated Film - Animax

LaMB is an upcoming animated film produced by Animax directed by Ryosuke Tei with the original script written by Carmelo S. J. Juinio, one of the finalists of the 2007 Animax awards Pan-Asia Animation competition (from Philippines), that will be broadcasted across several countries in 2009 in high definition. It is also the first and biggest Animax original production, featuring the French-Canadian band Simple Plan and the American band The Click Five who will be producing two different songs for the opening and ending themes of the movie.

Development
LaMB is Animax's first original production in High Definition, and "promises to revolutionize the entire entertainment experience via how content is delivered and marketed to consumers". Encompassing a series of multi-platform, multi-disciplinary, and multi-media activities that revolves around the launch of the movie on Animax, LaMB aims to redefine the entire entertainment experience for consumers from pre-premiere to post-premiere of the film in a campaign expected to last at least six months. The film is based on a screenplay entitled Laminated Woman: To the Sand Planet Cerra by Carmelo S. J. Juinio, a Filipino entrant of the 2007 Animax Award competition. Its release is considered by Animax to be an example of the industry potential of user generated content. The plot features a futuristic prison system in which prisoners, the titular "LaMB"s, are sealed in personal containment systems known as "laminated suits" and used for labor.

Canadian band Simple Plan's " I Can Wait Forever" is to be the title track for LaMB, while American band The Click Five's song "Summertime" is also to be featured in the film. Animax Asia and Peach Blossom Media are to produce music videos for both songs, which have premiered on Animax across Asia and online in December 2008.

Vivienne Tam New York based Fashion designer will designed the dresses for LaMB characters which will also be made into real dresses for LaMB based event across Asia.

The story begun with a daughter's dream, to go Euro trip with a friend.
Being filled with joy, they didn't know that they've already fallen into a trap.
Now, being a skilled father he already knew what to do upon rescuing his daughter.

If you're looking for an action-packed and suspense movie, then this movie is definetly a must-watch-movie for you this summer. The movie doesn't need to be subtitled in order to avoid spoilage to the viewers. The movie is very amazing, it's like you wanna shout and cheer the protagonist for a non-stop action.

Defend your turf

Rohan also has its own territorial wars called Township Battles. In a world where 30 vs. 30 battles are commonplace, Rohan raises the ante by adding the stronghold occupation elements into the mix.

Guilds are entitled to hold certain areas scattered amongst three maps. Opposing forces are to prioritize the siege and occupation of these bases in order to secure a foothold withing the territory. This system allows tactical warfare and strategy come to play rather than just have players duke it out en masse.

Unique player interaction

Adding even more depth to this already well-rounded game are community interactions that go beyond game interfaces. Now, players need not to be in-game to trade their wares. A website will be available where players can offer what they have for others to peruse and purchase. This extra level of interaction helps enhance gameplay even while not in actual play.

Further building on this dimension of game play and also a first in Pinoy gaming, Level Up! will also use the services of auction.ph for every purpose of having another virtual space where players can trade their items off-game.

Faster leveling

Another unique Rohan feature is Mkill which keeps track to the total number of monsters a player slays and rewards him for every 20th kills with boosted EXP. Through this feature, a player can gain loads of EXP even when not performing a quest. This allows another avenue for players who wish to power level, or by mixing both quests and Mkills, make the best out of their time in-game.
